MVN Team Uniforms:

MVN's official team uniforms and caps are mandatory for all swimmers to wear at competitive swim meets. Swimsuits are made by our sponsor, TYR Sport Inc., and can be purchased from Competitive Aquatic Supply (CAS) in our parking lot's trailer or directly from their Huntington Beach store. You may wear appropriate training swimwear of your choice for daily workouts.

Important Rules Regarding Technical Suits:
  • MVN follows the strict guidelines of the SCS rules on competition techncial swimsuits:
    "Swimsuits worn in all Age Group competition (as defined by USA Swimming) shall not extend past the top of the shoulder (the acromial process [a triangular projection] of the scapula), and shall not extend further down each leg than the top of the kneecap (patella). Swimsuits worn in all Age Group competition shall not be constructed of any polyurethane or neoprene materials, except post-manufacturing logos and decorations."
  • MVN requires that all Nadador swimmers wear only TYR brand tech suits.
  • MVN swimmers under the age of 13 are not permitted to wear tech suits.
  • TYR brand technical suits can be purchased at CAS.

MVN Training Equipment:

Competitive Aquatic Supply (CAS) carries any and all of your equipment needs. Generally, swimmers will be required to have goggles, fins, a kickboard, and a cap. Please check with your personal coach for specific needs. Most items can be conveniently found in the store on-site at MVN. Specialty items can be ordered directly from the store for your convenience.
